As a child, I was not particularly outgoing.
I struggled to blend naturally into groups of people, and it was never easy for me to express my thoughts and emotions in words.
The feelings I could not explain to anyone, and the emotions that words could never quite reach, seemed to find their place only in music and writing.
And so, driven by my love for music, I began life as a trainee at a very young age.
At that time, my intentions were simple.
I loved music. I wanted to learn more, and I wanted to become better.
With nothing more than that desire, I stepped into that world.
However, entering professional life at such a young age exposed me to the harsher realities of the world at a pace I was not prepared to handle.
There, I encountered injustices that no child should have had to experience.
A system in which silence was demanded in the face of authority.
An environment where hierarchy mattered more than people.
And invisible forces that seemed to carry more power than the music itself.
Eventually, I left the company.
I believed that once I escaped that place, I might find a different kind of world.
But the society I encountered after leaving was no different in essence. Only its outward form had changed.
Within larger and more sophisticated systems, corrupt power still existed, and the same injustices continued to repeat themselves on an even broader scale.
And within that world, I came face to face with another uncomfortable truth.
Even as I criticized power, I realized that I, too, was someone who desired it—perhaps more deeply than I wanted to admit.
Although I claimed to despise the system, there was still a small and fragile part of me that longed to be recognized within it and to stand in that very place.
That part of me undeniably existed.
Perhaps my music begins precisely there.
I do not want to reduce the world to a simple division between good and evil.
Nor do I want to place myself in a position of moral purity and pretend to be righteous.
Instead, I want to portray the contradictions of human nature as honestly as possible—the way we condemn corrupt power while secretly desiring it at the same time.
That is why the music I create is not limited to social criticism.
It is also a record of who I am, an observation of the world I have witnessed, and an honest confession from someone who has wavered, fallen apart, and found himself longing once again.
I still love music.
But that love is no longer directed only toward what is beautiful.

It brings together, within a single continuous arc, the power structures and injustices he encountered at far too young an age, as well as the harsher realities of society that continued to repeat themselves on an even greater scale after he left that world behind.
Yet this work does not stop at denouncing corrupt power.
By confronting the contradiction within himself—the fact that he condemned that power while simultaneously desiring it—《寸鐵殺人: An Incisive Remark》 becomes not only an indictment of society, but also an indictment of the self.
The narrative begins with the oppression and collective power structures he experienced within the music industry. It moves through anger and resistance, self-loathing and narcissism, and an awakening to the commodification of the self, before ultimately expanding into an examination of society as a whole—a structure that mirrors the music industry, or perhaps reproduces the same mechanisms on an even greater scale.
The album’s conclusion does not remain confined to anger.
In the end, UNDEF arrives at the realization that anger and hatred alone cannot change anything. While refusing submission, he leaves love and contemplation open as another possible path forward.
The entire album was created independently by UNDEF.
In addition to composing, writing lyrics, arranging, rapping, and singing every track, he personally carried out every stage of the project, including music video production, visual direction, visual concept development, and costume design.
